As a Bible researcher and teacher of over forty years, I have noticed that there are certain topics in the Bible that most Christians know little, if anything, about. For instance, do you think heaven will be a boring place? Many Christians do, so why would they be looking forward to going there? Learn the real facts. Do you know the next prophecy to be fulfilled will be the Rapture, when Christ will return to take the believers home to heaven. Many Biblical scholars believe this will happen soon. You need to be ready. Are you aware that there is an unbelievable amount of evidence that proves that Jesus lived, was crucified, and rose again. The Bible contains information that could not have been written without divine inspiration, including advanced knowledge about nature, prophecy, medicine, sanitation and science; knowledge that was thousands of years ahead of its time. Fulfilled prophecy and archaeology discoveries are proving the scriptures to be true. The effects of Satan and his demons are all around us––broken marriages, depression, private doubts about God, divided churches. You need to be aware of his tactics. Are angels involved in our everyday lives? Do you have your own guardian angel? These questions and many, many more are answered in this book. Many years ago I asked God to give me a hunger for His word. He honored that request far more than I anticipated. I truly enjoy studying, researching, and sharing the scriptures. God has blessed my wife and myself in so many ways. We live in a beautiful part of the country, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. God has also blessed us with a great son and daughter, their spouses and the four greatest granddaughters ever. I am a blessed man!
Because all of the events in this example are essentially the same (name, link, start and end times), I'm going to focus on just one of the events for the rest of the properties. Now it's for more than the trees—my fingers are tired ...

Microformats are HTML-based design patterns that help add meaning (semantics) to Web content. They are widely used by some of the most important sites on the Web including Google, Yahoo!, Facebook, and Twitter. The people behind these sites - content authors, designers and developers - understand the power and flexibility of microformats and are taking advantage of their capabilities. Any site can benefit from more effective content and improved user experience by employing microformats correctly. That's where this book excels. In Microformats Made Simple, author Emily Lewis demystifies these simple open data formats that are designed for people first, machines second. With practical, easy-to-understand markup examples for a wide range of web content, she teaches readers everything they need to know to start adding semantic richness to their sites, which can improve SEO and standards compliance, and supports extensible data publishing. Emily also discusses historical challenges in working with microformats, including accessibility, and how the new value class pattern addresses these challenges.

The Book of Revelation: What the Spirit Says to the Churches in America instructs lay readers to understand the last book of the Bible as its earliest audiences would have. The book aims to stimulate and educate Christians who find Revelation to be unapproachable. It assists readers to responsibly apply Revelation’s messages to their own settings once they understand what the Spirit said to the seven congregations in ancient settings. Only with the original audiences in mind, can modern American readers begin to discern what the Spirit says to them through the words of John’s Apocalypse. Through an accessible description of Revelation’s linguistic, literary, and historical contexts, readers can learn to approach the book as the seven churches of Asia Minor would have. Comparisons and contrasts between the Greco-Roman culture of Revelation and the United States of the twenty-first century assist readers to answer Revelation’s predominant question for themselves: “Who do you worship?” Many of John’s own writing techniques are utilized to treat this book as a conversation, so we can discover together “what the Spirit says to the churches in America.”

If you have not seen the massive differences of interpretation between the premillennial understanding of Scripture versus the amillennial, we will clearly view both positions side by side, with their supporting quotes from some of their stalwarts. We will set forth different approaches to Scripture as we study the Book of Revelation, and these are not some minor issues. So much of how one interprets Scripture ties in with those views.

Biblical Eschatology provides what is not found in any other single volume on eschatology: it analyzes all the major eschatological passages (including the Olivet Discourse and the book of Revelation), issues (including the second coming of Christ, the millennium, the rapture, and Antichrist), and positions (including all the major views of the millennium) in a clear, but not superficial, way. The book concludes with a chapter showing how eschatology is relevant for our lives. Biblical Eschatology makes understanding eschatology easier by including chapters on how to interpret prophecy and apocalyptic literature, by showing the history of eschatological thought, and by placing eschatology in the context of the Bible's overall story line and structure. Clarity and understanding are enhanced by the use of comparative tables and appendices. Subject and Scripture indexes are included. The book interacts with the best of Evangelical and Reformed scholarship, and the extensive bibliography (which includes the web addresses of many online resources) provides an excellent source for the reader's further study. This is a perfect resource for intelligent Christians, including pastors, students, and teachers, who desire to understand eschatology and to see how it fits together with the rest of the Bible.
Samuel E. Waldron, The End Times Made Simple (Calvary Press). ... Gerhard Forde, “Authority in the Church: The Lutheran Reformation,” in A More Radical Gospel, edited by Mark C. Mattes (Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Co.).

Martin Luther and other Reformers were instruments in Gods hand to recover the gospel in the Holy Scriptures. Nevertheless, it is an irony that, along with the gospel, there was still lawin the sense of law as rule of life, in the teaching of the Reformers. On the issue of the law, even Luther was not as consistent as was Paul the apostle. In The Grace of Christ, the saving righteousness of God which justifies the ungodly in Christ, and frees us from trusting in our righteousness is given its central place, as it is in the gospel of God (Rom. 1:1ff.). At the same time, the new creation in Christ is also given its rightful due. Following the apostles teaching, in terms of what Paul means by both justification and new creation in Christ, The Grace of Christ, like no other book, shows that both of these realities exclude any idea of the law (of Moses) as the rule of life for those in Christ. Paul is not an antinomian. The new creation in Christ is our rule (Gal. 6:15,16). Roessing does not base his position on only this one text, but rather shows how Paul consistently teaches this truth in many places and ways, even though the flesh rejects it. And Roessing is not alone in this view; he is close to that of Gerhard O. Forde, and even closer to that of Wolfhart Pannenberg. But this issue (of the believers rule) is just one of the aspects of grace covered in The Grace of Christ. For those who want to learn something of the depth of the things freely given us by God, The Grace of Christ the law in light of the Gospel, sets forth those things, so that the spiritually hungry will want to behold the grace of God in Christ as he is set forth in these pages, and to return again for more.
